Three weeks into the 2019 college football season and shake ups in the 2020 NFL Draft rankings are already happening. There are nationally consensus top guys in this class (i.e. Jerry Jeudy and Chase Young), but there are movements up and down the rest of the field.

Rundown:

– There are some newcomers in my top 50, most notably the quarterbacks. LSU QB Joe Burrow is one of the hottest names right now amongst NFL scouts. Transferring from Ohio State, he’s finally proving to be the 5-star prospect he was ranked as coming out of high school.

– We knew coming into this year that this wide receiver class was loaded, but other positions are starting to be worthy of that billing as well. The offensive line, running back, and quarterback groups are most prevalent in my top 50. It’s a little odd to see so many QBs in a top 50, but so many are playing lights out right now. They all have traits that will translate well to the NFL, some are just more raw than others.

– I’m constantly updating my big board every week as I watch film so this list will be very fluid from now until the draft. I’ll be releasing my updated 100 Player Big Board in a few weeks, and my first mock draft of 2020 in the middle of the season. As usual, I’ll continue to release my weekly recap articles every Tuesday.
